Travel In Bulgaria – Holidays Guide
Bulgaria is one of the newest members of the European Union and has recorded major changes in recent years. In many resorts there has been a construction boom, which tempts buyers in Western Europe with relatively cheap property. As a result, the Bulgarian seaside and ski resorts are developing rapidly. Great cities have rejected the communist aspect and become vibrant and attractive, with wide avenues and clean, diverse shopping facilities and a lively nightlife. Spectacular mountains occupy half of the country, and golden sandy beaches draw crowds of tourists every summer. Thus, for those thinking to travel in Bulgaria…go for it!Bulgarian culture is a blend of cultures Thracians, Slavs and Bulgarian, but there are also influences of Byzantine, Turkish and Greek. Bulgarian is a Slavic language written in Cyrillic alphabet, this being the closest link between Bulgaria and Russia, the other way, Russian is the second language of older people.
