The Republic of Macedonia is a country located in the heart of the Balkans, sharing borders with Bulgaria, Serbia, Greece and Albania. In the North and West, the easiest way to reach the country is through Serbia, and in the East, through Greece and Bulgaria. This country has remained much of a hidden treasure – a natural paradise with mountains, lakes and rivers, with a different lifestyle in the middle of the greatness of historical and idyllic villages, which have remained unchanged for centuries. Macedonians are friendly and love parties with music, booze and food.
Most of the ancient architecture of the capital Skopje was damaged during an earthquake in 1963, but the city has been rebuilt, today being a flourishing metropolis. You can visit parts of the historic center, such as a medieval fortress and a Bazaar in Ottoman style.
